Logo Design

Already have a logo? No problem, we can either include that in your website and develop the theme of the website to fit the look & feel of your logo, or we can improve on it to give it more shine or otherwise modernise the look.

Don't have a logo? Well you might just want one then! Your logo is an important way to make your brand and your website easily recognisable to your customers and give your website a unique identity. We can design a logo for your new website no problem. Our promise of making any alterations necessary until you're completely happy applies to this too.

Web Standards & Browser Compatibility

We make a habit of testing all of our work in multiple web browsers, and always follow the W3C Web Standards guidelines as closely as possible to make sure that your website is compliant, search engine friendly and accessible to everyone. If you already have a website that has not been standardised and/or has cross-browser errors, we can also offer to fix it as a separate service.

For our more technical clients if you have a specific doctype you would like us to use this is no problem. We can easily handle HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0 or HTML 5. Our websites are not locked to any particular system so you may freely edit your website in Dreamweaver or another program of your choosing if you wish to.

Search Engine Optimisation

By using adhering to web standards as much as possible and making sure that the HTML code on your website is not bloated, makes good use of CSS and has relevant titles, keywords, descriptions, a sitemap, favicon, and various other tags and techniques put into use, we will ensure your website is fully readable by search engines and ready to be discovered.

Ok so you have a brand new website, but where do you want to host it? Whilst we are certainly able to help recommend the good & bad of the many budget web hosts there are to choose from, we would encourage you to simply leave it to us! We now offer website hosting to all of our clients, plus free help registering a domain. So, you choose the domain you want, we set it up, we make the website, and we publish it to the web, no fuss, just easy and simple for you and only one company to have to pay for it.

What's more we provide very competitive rates on hosting and tailor the package to suit your requirements to provide more than enough disk space and bandwidth for your needs. We do not tie you into a contract so you can move host at any time if you wish to. Many other hosts will make you pay a non-refundable fee for 3, 6, 12 or even 24 months in order to get the best price. We are happy to accept payment monthly or yearly, and you can cancel your package at any time.

PHP

Many of our websites are developed in PHP. This allows for extra code to run on the server-side so that you can run scripts such as email contact forms & newsletter subscription services, and automate functions such as including content on more than one page (i.e. templating & server side includes). PHP is a very powerful and popular language, and used properly can make your website not only more feature-packed but much easier to manage.

MySQL Databases

Databases are a powerful tool for storing information and then displaying it again in an organised, searchable format on your website. Many clients are interested in either starting up a blog or adding a blog feature to a new or existing website. With over 8000 plugins and a fantastic online community of people helping each other out and documenting everything they develop for it, Wordpress is perhaps the most versatile blogging platform on the web, and is not only simple to use but very customisable, enabling us to set it up exactly as you want and integrate it tightly into your website. Content Management Systems

The key to a good CMS is that it is easy to use to keep your website up to date, allowing to edit all the bits you might need to with the minimum of fuss. Some clients prefer us to offer ongoing support to make changes to their website for them when needed, which is certainly something we offer. However, it has become increasingly more popular to have a content management system in place instead, allowing you to edit your own website whenever you want for a long time to come, and with no ongoing costs.
